Guide Dogs for the Blind

Janna Suzannah is a beautiful Yellow Labrador Retriever / Golden Retriever hybred from Guide Dogs for the Blind in San Rafael California. She was carrer changed due to stress behaviors that appeared during the last gruelling days of training just days before she was to meet her blind partner. She could not handle the high paced, high stressed life that Guide Dogs must be able to handle.

Intermountain Therapy Group, Reading Education Assistance Dogs, Visiting Nurses Association

She was returned to her first puppy raising home in the hot and sunny High Desert in Southern California. Her raisers then trained and certified her through Delta to be a therapy dog, through Intermountain Therapy Group to be a READ (Reading Education Assistance Dogs) and with the Visiting Nurses Association. Janey now works several times a week visiting assisted living facilities, libraries and schools to help children with their academic careers, and sick people who are home bound and bed ridden. She is a very special dog. She has a labrador body with a silly goofy golden face. She smiles like a golden retriever when she eagerly goes to work. She is a blessing to so many people in the Victor Valley.
